CONGRATS TO EMMY WHO'S GOING TO TANZINIA/UGANDA

I now have something else to concentrate on and will research it for you. It's so exciting and I hope you will request a laptop to take with you so you can keep a journal and allow us to vicariously share in your experience,

i'm feeling kind of tentative about uganda (did you see last king of scotland with forest whittaker) not a favorable view. tanazania i'm neutral about. i'm sure i'll become more excited as the trip is upon me.

I'm comfortable that your chairman is not going to put himself into a tenuous situation. Don't base your emotions on a movie because that is the job of the movie - to involve you emotionally. Hey, Forest Whittaker is still here and enjoying life! Idi Amin died in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where he lived out a very comfortable life. Uganda goes on and I will watch the political side over the next few months.

trudat! i've begun to feel excited. today i met a my counterpart from mhumbili university in tanzania who is visiting boston for training. she is administering several harvard initiatives (funded by bill gates, nih and others). very exciting!
